How to import data from a CSV file into MySQL Table using MySQL Workbench

Right click the Tables tab then locate and click Table Data Import Wizard.

Click Browse… and choose the file, which you would like to import.

Rename your table if you want then click Next.

Make changes to Import Settings as needed then click Next again.

Click Next again and wait for the import to complete. Keep in mind that importing might take a long time depending on the size of your file.

The newly created table might not appear automatically under the Tables tab, so you will need to refresh the tables by right clicking the Tables tab and clicking Refresh All.

Congratulations ! You have now have a new table with the contents of your file.
